Two students from Sikkim, Bhupendra Sharma, resident of Aho Yangtam, East Sikkim and Chandra Shekhar Sharma, resident of Bermiok, West Sikkim have been chosen to represent the State at the esteemed Future Leader Model United Nations (MUN) Simulation Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. Chandra Shekhar, is a student at the Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College.
The conference calls on young leaders to shape the future of global leadership in the post-pandemic era. It is scheduled from October 9th to 12th, offering the participants a platform to simulate United Nations decision-making processes and address pressing global challenges.
Model United Nations have participants from different countries and is like a mock United Nations Assembly where youths from different countries interact and discuss global issues.
