JAM WITH FAM: ‘Identity and Expressions’ Date: 17/06/2022, Time: 3:00pm-5:00pm, Venue: Seminar Hall

The Readers’ Association (RA) is a student’s collective started on April 2018. The primary goal of the group is to form spaces of active discussion and deliberation on issues pertaining to one’s existence as social beings. The platform attempts to create an environment of peer learning outside the bounds of their classroom and encourages self-expression. This is usually carried out via different participatory methods such as Prose & poetry sessions, film screening, book reviews, debate & discourses, art display, workshops etc. The main focus of RA is to aid students to develop their life skills and help them grow not only academically but also on a personal and social level.
'Jam with Fam’ is an annual event organised by Readers' Association (RA) of NBBGC where the members engage with the audience by sharing their original piece of writing, photographs, musical composition or other form of expression. To compliment June as ‘International Pride Month’ the theme selected for this year was ‘Identity and Expressions’.  There were 13 members of RA who read and recited their work and 11 guests who participated in the Open Mic Session.
