Sikkimese boxers won 6 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze and lifted Team Championship in 4th BFI East Zone Elite Men’s Boxing Championship held at Meghalaya. The Sikkim team won the overall Team Championship beating the host State Meghalaya and Assam at Zonal Competitions.
Among the Sikkimese boxers, Rudra Chhetri, final year Nepali Honours student of NBBGC, Tadong, won Gold in the 60 kg category. The entire college fraternity congratulates Rudra on winning laurels for the state and would like to wish him well for future endeavours.
