On 01.10.2021, His Excellency, the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Ganga Prasad, inaugurated a Two-day outreach programme held at the Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College Auditorium. The programme was a part of the celebration of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" that is being observed on the occasion of 75 years of India's Independence. It was organized by the Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB), Guwahati, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
The occasion was also graced by the Secretary, IPR Department, Government of Sikkim, Director, PIB, Sikkim, Deputy Director, ROB and Principal of NBBG College, Dr. D. Purohit along with the representatives of ROB, teachers and students of the college.
Shri Loknath Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of IPR, Government of Sikkim, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, on the second day of the Event. The event saw a colorful presentation of music, dance and cultural programmes by the cultural troupes of ROB, Guwahati Centre.
