On 19th November 2022, a cleanliness drive was organised by the Department of Education, NBBGC as part of the Mentorship programme. Mentees under each faculty member from IIIrd Semester, Department of Education participated in the programme. The main purpose of this activity was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and to instil values of cooperation, teamwork and a sense of responsibility. Students cleaned the classrooms and staircase and mopped the floor. They picked up wrappers and litter around the vicinity. The wastes were properly disposed off in dustbins.
All the students sincerely participated in the cleanliness drive as it was observed that they had brought cleaning materials such as brooms, dust pans and wiping clothes themselves. Seeing the enthusiasm of the students engaged in the cleanliness drive was commendable. The students were provided snacks after the programme.
