On November 19, 2022, the Department of Microbiology, NBBGC successfully organised a special talk on “Virus and Vaccine: The Future Conundrum”. The special talk was delivered by Dr. Sayak Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Life Sciences & Bioinformatics, Assam University (A Central University), Silchar, Assam. A total of 58 students from the Department of Zoology, Botany, and Microbiology participated. The main point discussed in today’s presentation were general immunology, vaccine development, types of vaccine, SARAS-COVID-19 virus origin, and its vaccine development.
