Department of History, NBBDC organised a three day historical lecture series from 26-28 September 2018 in the Seminar Hall.
On the first day, Ms. Deepshikha Gurung, Archive Officer, Sikkim State Archive Gangtok was the invited speaker. During her session she spoke about the conservation and preservation of archival documents. The following day, Dr. Chaudhari, Associate Professor, Department of Peace and Conflict, Sikkim University delivered her talk. She discussed the acute problems faced by women of insurgency affected districts of Assam. On the concluding day, Dr. Sebastian, Associate Professor, Department of International Relations, Sikkim University highlighted and further discussed about its relevance in the modern context.
